Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F Stir together in bowl breadcrumbs, the ground beef, allspice, nutmeg, pepper, cayenne pepper and 1tsp salt. Press mixture into bottom and sides of a 9” pie plate up to the rim and refrigerate for 20mins. Mash sweet potatoes and remaining ingredients into another bowl, adding the ½tsp of salt that is left. Mash until mixture is smooth. Spoon potato mixture into uncooked meat shell. Bake @ 350°F for 50mins or until knife inserted in the center comes out smooth. Serves 4 to 6 people |
